TV Told Rio He Was Captain

We have to wait until we go with the squad. I found out I was captain from the TV.”

Bridge May Pull Out Of World Cup To Avoid Terry
Football

2010 World Cup

According to a ‘source’ close to the player, presumably not John Terry, Wayne Bridge is so devastated by his ex-Chelsea team mates affair with his former partner, Vanessa Perroncel, that he’s close to pulling out of England’s World Cup plans as long as Terry is in the squad. You really know you don’t get on with someone when you’d miss out on playing in the greatest sporting competition in the world just to avoid spending time with them.
