About Playmaker

Playmaker was created for players who love football but want more from their football experience. We combine the values and accessibility of grassroots football with a more structured, development-focused approach to coaching, training and player progression. Our approach is underpinned by a set of principles:

• Development and enjoyment go hand-in-hand: Players enjoy football most when they are learning, improving, competing and taking pride in what they do.

• Players learn best through the game: Our coaching is realistic, game-based and designed to help players think, understand and express themselves creatively.

• Development requires challenge: Improvement comes through effort, resilience and constructive feedback. Coaches will support players, but also challenge them.

• Teamwork matters: Good teams communicate, work for each other and share responsibility. Individual talent is strongest when it benefits the team.

• Parents are part of the journey: Parents and carers play an important role in supporting development, especially during difficult moments and setbacks.
